Who are Ivygrove?

Ivygrove Group is a long-established property development and investment company providing high-quality industrial, warehouse, and commercial space across Derbyshire and the surrounding regions. We focus on supporting growing businesses by offering practical, well-maintained premises backed by a responsive, tenant-focused service.

Our History

For more than 50 years, Ivygrove has grown and evolved alongside the property industry.

Ivygrove was established by founder and Chairman John Blount in Derbyshire in 1976. The business is still family owned today which means we can take decisions for the long term rather than the next quarter, and stay properly involved in the sites we build and lease. Ivygrove is a diverse property group spanning residential development, commercial property, construction and investment.

Our Corporate Structure

Ivygrove operates through three distinct companies, each with a clear role within the wider group.

Ivygrove Estates

Ivygrove Estates manages a well established property investment portfolio, built on strong, long standing relationships with the businesses and occupiers who lease from us. This loyal tenant base, combined with a solid balance sheet, allows us to focus on what matters most: maintaining excellent space and delivering a service our tenants can rely on, year after year.

We're always looking to welcome new tenants who share our values of quality, reliability and long term partnership. If you're looking for well maintained, strategically located commercial space backed by a landlord who invests in the relationship, we'd love to hear from you.

Ivygrove Developments

Ivygrove Estates leads the group's future industrial development activity, building a dedicated portfolio. The company has already acquired employment land at Merlin Park, with a further acquisition at Looms Park set to support continued growth in the years ahead.

Ivygrove Homes

Over recent years, we have taken great pride in delivering four residential developments, each reflecting our commitment to quality design and lasting value. It has been a rewarding chapter for Ivygrove, and one we look back on with real satisfaction.

Ivygrove Contracting

Ivygrove Contracting provides the group's contracting capability, delivering new build construction across both Ivygrove Estates and Ivygrove Developments, together with ongoing repairs and maintenance across both portfolios. Ivygrove Limited also carries out new build construction and repairs work on behalf of BE Webbes, DIPT, Mertrux & Whitehouse construction.
